Best Bars in Downtown Las Vegas

The D Bar in downtown Las Vegas

D Bar

While there are plenty of Fremont Street bars to choose from, the D Bar has it all: live music, dancing bartenders, and frozen drinks. Situated right in front of our hotel and casino, it’s a prime spot for people-watching or pregaming a night on the town.

Oak & Ivy

Whiskey lovers will be right at home inside Oak & Ivy, which serves barrel-aged cocktails alongside rare beers and spirit. The garnishes and mixers are all homemade, while the outdoor patio is the perfect place to spend an afternoon.

Bar Prohibition!

If you’re looking for upscale cocktails, look no further. Bar Prohibition! is located inside the Golden Gate Hotel & Casino. As the name suggests, it transports guests back to the prohibition days, with drinks like the Bootlegger and 1906 Spritz.

Corduroy

From 70s decor to a vintage speaker collection, Corduroy is another Fremont Street bar you don’t want to miss. Get comfy on a velvet couch, stay late for a DJ set, or snap a photo of the art-adorned walls.

BarCanada

Hockey fans will think they’ve died and gone to heaven with BarCanada. Located on the second level of the D, this sleek bar has a laid-back atmosphere and 85-inch TVs.

LONGBAR

When LONGBAR opened in the D a few years ago, its 100-foot bar was the longest in the state. With lively bartenders, game machines, and big TVs, there’s not a dull moment at LONGBAR.

MEGA BAR Late Night Bar in Las Vegas

MEGA BAR

Here at the D, though, we’re always trying to outdo ourselves. That’s why we opened MEGA BAR inside our sister hotel Circa. MEGA BAR now wears the crown for the state’s longest watering hole at 165 feet and boasts a modern vibe, 120 beers on top, and plenty of TVs.

The Griffin

From its distinct ambience—courtesy of its brick interior, mood lighting, leather couches, and firepits—to its quaint outdoor patio, the Griffin is a spot you don’t want to miss. The Griffin offers a 10 p.m. happy hour, in addition to live music, comedy, and DJ sets.

The Commonwealth

Another swanky spot in downtown Las Vegas is the Commonwealth, a two-story cocktail bar with a rooftop dance floor overlooking Fremont Street. Inside, you’ll be stunned by the spot’s glass chandeliers and wall collages.

The Laundry Room

Tucked inside the Commonwealth is one of the best speakeasies on Fremont Street: a 22-seat bar called the Laundry Room where voices must be kept to a whisper and no photographs are allowed. Reservations required.

Downtown Cocktail Room

Another one of the best downtown Las Vegas bars is the Downtown Cocktail Room. This speakeasy is swanky and has a creative menu of original cocktails such as Making Fetch Happen and Circe’s Kiss.

Circa Bar

If you’re ready to turn the energy back up after a cocktail at a quiet speakeasy, head to Circa Bar, where bartenders add their flair to drink-making while you’ll be front row for Fremont Street’s Viva Vision light shows.

Rooftop View of Las Vegas at Sunset from Legacy Club

Legacy Club

Take the elevator to Circa’s 60th floor and you’ll be in for a night to remember. Legacy Club has a panoramic view of downtown, hang by a fire pit, and enjoy a display made of 1,000 ounces of pure gold.

Vegas Vickie’s

Also at the Circa Hotel is Vegas Vickie’s, a cocktail lounge with a photo-worthy neon sign of the cowgirl Vickie that oversees a mid-century bar.

OneBar

Next up, grab a frozen drink at Golden Gate’s OneBar, where bevvies are chilled by the only geothermal, closed loop cooling system in any Vegas casino. This impressive technology keeps drinks cold while conserving energy and offering OneBar the city’s largest chilling capacity. Oh yeah—there are bikini-clad bartenders too.

Vue Bar

For the gamblers in the house, Vue Bar at the D offers slots, games, and the Circa Sportsbook—all right on Fremont Street.

Sidebar

Another speakeasy on the downtown Las Vegas strip is Sidebar. Tucked inside the Grand Hotel, Sidebar is often referred to as a hidden gem, with craft cocktails and delicious apps.

Claude’s Bar

Last but not least is Claude’s Bar, located just off the poker room at the Golden Nugget. The quintessential Vegas experience, Claude’s has games, cheap drinks, and is open around-the-clock.
