Unveiling Circa Las Vegas: Downtown’s New Resort & Casino Experience

Exterior of Circa Resort & Casino in Las Vegas

The newest player in Las Vegas is taking root in Downtown Las Vegas, and it’s called Circa Resort & Casino. Slated to debut in two phases as a part of the Fremont Street Experience on October 28 and December 28 of 2020, this beautiful new project by brothers Derek and Greg Stevens will be a true homage to the history and future of Las Vegas.

Circa Las Vegas will live on a land once occupied by the Las Vegas Club, Glitter Gulch, and Mermaids Casino. Now, it will be an entertainment and hospitality hub of Downtown featuring over-the-top experiences and one-of-a-kind amenities to make your Vegas truly unforgettable. The name reflects its goal: bringing vintage Vegas hospitality and old-fashioned glamour together with modern splendor and by honoring the golden ages circa 1940, 1980, and 2020.

Welcome to Circa Las Vegas

35 Floors and 777 Rooms of Extravagance

Opening in the second phase on December 28, lucky number 777 plays a role in Circa’s creation, as 777 rooms and suites fill the 1.25 million-square-foot property. Standing at 35 stories tall and nearly 500 feet high, Circa Las Vegas will be the tallest hotel north of the Strip. The floor numbering will go up to level 60, but Derek Stevens notes that some floor numbers will be left out. Stevens also notes that Circa Resort will be suite-focused to increase the number of suites in the area to meet demand.

Luxurious Amenities for All

You can’t have a one-of-a-kind resort without one-of-a-kind amenities, and Circa Resort & Casino definitely delivers. Circa Las Vegas will host the longest outdoor bar on the Fremont Street Experience, eleven dining and bar options, and a split-level casino. The majority of these properties will open October 28 of this year, with the remaining opening December 28.

Circa Las Vegas Sportsbook

The Largest Sports Book in Las Vegas

Inspired by a wow moment at the then Las Vegas Hilton Superbook in 1986, Derek Stevens was driven to create the biggest sportsbook in Las Vegas. Powered by his love of sports and sports betting, he promises to fulfill his own dream to have a state-of-the-art, multi-level, stadium-style sportsbook equipped with the biggest screen in sportsbook history with Circa | Sports. The Stevens brothers have also announced bring an in-house broadcast studio to Circa Las Vegas. This move will be especially important to the growth of the Las Vegas sports scene that we’ve seen booming recently.

Welcome to the Garage Mahal

Getting around Vegas just got a little easier with Circa’s Garage Mahal. This 9-story parking garage is the first of its kind and has been designed with today’s favorite mode of transportation in mind – ride-sharing! Uber and Lyft will be easily to call to make partying the night away as simple and efficient as possible. There will be 1,201 parking spots to make Downtown Las Vegas easily accessible, making it a haven for travelers and Las Vegas entertainment seekers alike.

Multi-Tiered Pool Amphitheater at Circa Las Vegas

Glamorous Multi-Tiered Pool Amphitheater

Entertainment in Vegas just got that much better with the multi-tiered pool amphitheater that will sit atop the resort, aptly named Circa Stadium Swim®. Featuring a back-lit roofline, six pools, and a massive 125-foot, high-resolution screen, this new amphitheater will light up the skyline and your day or night. From well-known DJs and performances from special guests to sports watch parties or just catching some sun, there will always be something to do here. Delicious food and drink options and cabanas make it that much more enjoyable.

Vegas Vickie Makes a Return

One of Circa’s star players is a Las Vegas icon. Many will recognize her, a beautiful kicking cowgirl named Vegas Vickie. Vegas Vickie used to perch above the Fremont Street Experience, dazzling all who passed by her. Now, she will live in Circa, greeting guests with her dazzling smile within the Circa Las Vegas hotel lobby at her new namesake bar – Vegas Vickie’s.

We are excited to welcome Circa Resort & Casino to the family. Derek and Greg Stevens strive to build up Las Vegas and create a new golden age of the city – circa 2020! Designed with unbridled passion with a focus on fun and excitement, the Circa Las Vegas team is ready to stand and welcome all to the time of their lives!
