Detroit’s Top Steak Chef Comes to Downtown Las Vegas with Andiamo Steakhouse

Entrance to Andiamo Steakhouse at The D

When you come to Las Vegas, two things are certain: you’re sure to have a good time, and you’re sure to eat good food. Downtown Las Vegas features some of the best food in the country, and steaks are what we do best. Steakhouses in Las Vegas are iconic because of their history, vast menu, and mouthwatering meat. While there are countless choices around Fremont Street, guests should be sure to check out Joe Vicari’s Andiamo Steakhouse.

The D is also proud to announce that their very own Andiamo Italian Steakhouse was featured in Condé Nast Traveler as 1 of the 10 Best Steakhouses in Las Vegas. Described as a laid-back Italian steakhouse in the heart of Downtown Las Vegas, both Andiamo Steakhouse and the D are beyond proud to accept this award. Condé Nast Traveler states that, “Downtown is the unsung hero of Las Vegas—where you’ll find friendly service, no pretense, and more bang for your buck (as compared to restaurants on the Strip).” Read on to find out more about one of the best steakhouses in all of Las Vegas!

An Andiamo History

Joe Vicari, founder of Andiamo Steakhouse, has always focused on bringing the freshest ingredients, best meat, and fullest flavors to his guests. When it comes to quality, Vicari doesn’t believe in cutting corners and his Pat LaFrieda and Stockyard Premium beef, Strauss Lamb, and free range chicken shows it.

The Italian chef has opened successful Andiamo Steakhouses throughout the Detroit area and when The D founders Derek and Greg Stevens, two Detroit natives, opened their hotel in Las Vegas, they knew they had to have Vicari’s famed steakhouse. Together they have brought the delicious classics to Downtown Las Vegas and are excited to welcome guests to Andiamo Steakhouse, located inside The D.

American Prime with Italian Flavor

Vicari likes to say that he has achieved “American prime with Italian flavor” with his steaks, homemade Italian breads, award-winning sauces, and handmade pasta. And Andiamo’s menu is not just for the die-hard carnivores. The selections also include a number of delicious salad options, pastas, seafood, and more. Based on their over 600 4.5 star reviews, guests love the Beet Napoleon salad, the Jumbo Lump Crab Cakes, and the tableside-made Caesar salad (with dressing made from scratch to top it off!). There is nothing not to love about the Andiamo Steakhouse, extensive menu.

The Meat

Now, for the grand finale: the steaks! Andiamo Steakhouse steaks are graded to be in the top 8% of all beef raised in the US and their 30-day aging method produces a tenderness and flavor that is unparalleled. The restaurant offers the finest products by partnering with the nation’s top butchers and the taste tells it all. But don’t take our word for it. Lee K. explains that even though it sounds like hyperbole, this was the best steak he has had in his life. He “genuinely had his mind blown.” Daniel C. said, “there is absolutely nothing bad I can say about Andiamo Steakhouse” and that all the steaks were cooked to perfection.

The owners of The D brought this delicious, mouthwatering steak dinner all the way from the Midwest to Downtown Las Vegas, and locals and visitors alike couldn’t be happier. Now the only question is, porterhouse or New York strip?
